My dear friends, what a joy it is to see all your beautiful faces here tonight. Forty years may have passed since our school days, but looking around this room, I feel like we've stepped back in time to those cherished moments we shared. To our beloved teachers, Mr. Mari and Mr. Ganas, your presence here warms my heart. You nurtured not just our minds, but our spirits too. The lessons you taught us, both from books and from life, have guided us through the years. We're so grateful to have you here to celebrate with us.

I'm touched to see so many of you who've traveled from far and wide - from across the seas, from the vibrant streets of Johannesburg, and the scenic shores of Cape Town. Your effort to be here speaks volumes about the bonds we formed all those years ago.

bridging the gap ...

As I look at each of you, I'm reminded of our shared memories - the giggles in class, the adventures in the playground, the nervous energy before exams, and the laughter that echoed through the corridors. These precious moments have shaped us into who we are today - caring parents, dedicated professionals, and compassionate members of our communities. Tonight is our chance to bridge the gap of years, to reconnect with old friends, to reminisce about our shared past, and to create new memories. Let's make this evening special - share your stories, your joys, and even your struggles. Let's celebrate not just who we were, but who we've become. Welcome back, my dear friends. Let's enjoy this beautiful reunion together, and may our bonds grow even stronger. Here's to us, and to the golden memories we share!

Gratitude ...

Wow - forty years! Looking around this room tonight, I can hardly believe how time has flown. Yet here we all are, and those school friendships are as strong as ever. Mr. Mari, Mr. Ganas - seeing you here tonight means the world to us. You were more than teachers; you were mentors who shaped our futures. Thank you for everything you taught us, in and out of the classroom. I'm amazed at how far some of you have traveled to be here - crossing oceans, coming from Jo'burg and Cape Town. That says everything about the bonds we share from our school days. Those memories are still so vivid, aren't they? The classroom chaos, running wild on the playground, sweating over exams, and those endless laughs in the corridors. Look at us now - we've built careers, raised families, and made our mark in the world.

Tonight's about bringing back those golden days, catching up on the years between, and making new memories together. So let's raise our glasses, share our stories, and celebrate like we're back in school (just with better drinks this time!). Welcome home, my friends. Let's make this a night to remember!

Celebrations

Dear friends and classmates, My heart is so full seeing all of you here tonight. Who would have thought that forty years after leaving school, we'd be standing here together, with our friendship just as precious as it was back then? (smiling at the teachers) Mr. Mari and Mr. Ganas, you're such a special part of our story. We were just children when you took us under your wing, and look at what we've become because of your guidance. Thank you for being here tonight to share in our joy. It's amazing how far some of you have traveled to be here - crossing oceans, coming from Jo'burg and Cape Town. That just shows how much we mean to each other, doesn't it? You know, I still remember our daily adventures - whispering in class, running around the playground, stressing over exams, and those endless chats in the corridors. Those moments helped shape us into who we are today - and I'm so proud of what each of you has achieved.

Tonight isn't just about remembering the past; it's about celebrating our journey and catching up on all the years between. So let's share our stories, our laughter, and make some new memories together. Welcome home, my dear friends. It's so wonderful to have you all here.

They asked me what is so special about school Friendship and my reply was :" They knew each other before life got complicated. They were the first glimpse of loyalty and love. No filters, no pressure, just laughter and silly fights. they knew your dreams before you did. They saw you before the world tried to change you. School friends - they're pieces of your childhood that never left."
